As a real estate agent since 2004, specializing in the Central Valley, California, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience when it comes to buying and selling real estate.  It’s not the same in all states, so you need someone you can trust for up-to-date information.  I pride myself in always serving my clients with the highest level of honesty and integrity.

I am an active member of our local association (Central Valley Association of Realtors) and the California Association of REALTORS®.  As a member of the local board, I have led many committees over the years and in 2016, I received the CVAR REALTOR® of the YEAR award.

Being a licensed California REALTOR®, I believe that community advocacy is an integral part of protecting home ownership.  As a full-time real estate agent, it is my priority to connect with sellers and buyers to promote homeownership in the Central Valley.

Many Realtors® say they know a lot about short sales, but do not know how the short sale process works or why a short sale is a better alternative to a foreclosure.  If a homeowner has to short sale their home, it is an extremely important that they hire a trained and experienced professional to handle the transaction.  By achieving the designation of CDPE (Certified Distressed Property Expert) and as a Realtor® that has successfully closed short sales, I have the training and experience you need in order to guide you through this process.

What is a CDPE? ®

A Certified Distressed Property Expert® is a real estate agent who has been through special training and is experienced in helping homeowners facing foreclosure as well as foreclosure avoidance options.

A CDPE® agents’ job is to help homeowners evaluate their current financial situation to see what options they may have.  The homeowner should be prepared to discuss with the CDPE agent what hardship may have caused the homeowner to fall behind on the mortgage payments as well as their monthly income and expenses.

Through comprehensive training and experience, CDPE® agents are able to provide solutions for homeowners facing hardships in today’s market, specifically short sales.

What is SFR?

The Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource® certification is for REALTORS® that allows them to help sellers and buyers of distressed properties.  This certification allows Realtors to better help clients avoid foreclosure whenever possible and by helping them through the foreclosure process quickly when there are no other alternatives.

Any homeowner who has worked with an SFR® certified real estate agent can tell you when it comes to short sales or foreclosure, there is no alternative than working with an agent that is SFR® certified.  These agents are trained specifically to deal with short sales and foreclosures, know the guidelines and legalities and generally have a more sympathetic outlook on the situation their clients are in.
